What you need: 1. 12 STR, bedroll +1 and encourage +1 or str potion or food or whatever 2. Withermoore's Soul Jar How to step by step: 1. Take the spear to free him and finish the dialogue *optional: you can drop the jar first to save 1 AP if for some weird reason you don't have enough AP 2. Talk to him again but don't give him or destroy the jar so he will engage you in combat 3. Drop the jar (-1 AP) and attack the jar (ctrl on pc) (-2 AP)
