|| Grand Theft Auto V || native VR with tracked motion controls on Oculus Quest!
I'm probably playing the best version of GTA 5 VR using a gta 5 vr headset injection that isn't available anymore. I had to download it from a google drive. The rest of it is the grandtheftvr.com asi. it works perfectly almost, but in some places the mesh needs to walk up to a counter and buy a gun, and in VR the mesh isn't there so it doesn't work unless i drop VR. At that point it won't go back into VR without crashing so i have to finish missions like that on the flat screen. Also not having any luck winning a fist fight in VR. will be doing an unofficial speed run and posting a video of the speedrun. it doesn't count on speedrun.com because of modified game files. We'll see if anyone can get a faster game time than me with steering wheel, gear shifter, pedals, and VR set up. I will provide a video tutorial on how to set this up properly it needs a few small work arounds. Leave a comment and let me know if you'd challenge my custom rules VR speedrun. Anyway for now i'm just going to get comfortable with the missions and as i progress i'll learn all the jumps or copy other speedrunners. I'll lose time every time i have to come out of VR, as the game will have to be restarted. IDK why, but scripthookV crashes if you duce in and out of VR like that.
