Persona 2 was split into 2 parts: Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment. Due to 'reasons', Innocent Sin was never released outside of Japan on the PS1, and only 11 years later did we get a port on the PSP. As Eternal Punishment is a direct sequel to Innocent Sin, we're skipping 11 years into the future to play part 1 first! A strange curse is plaguing the Seven Sisters highschool; rumors about the school crest causing disfiguration were spread by students playing the 'Joker's Game', which has gotten popular. Tatsuya, a student at the school teams up with Lisa, a blonde girl infatuated with him, Eikichi, a student from 'Cuss High' and a pair of journalists Maya and Yukki, who use their ability to summon Persona to find and stop Joker.
