DOOM The Only Thing They Fear Is You Full Cover
I've seen loads of people cover Doom by playing over the original, which is fine, but I've decided to do something a little different and do the whole thing from scratch Couple of mix notes. 1) My sound design skills are not the best, (plus I didn't have a chainsaw or lawnmower handy) so I had no chance of replicating Mick's sounds so I've had to put my own spin on them. 2) 'Wait' I hear you say, 'You've missed out the best riff, that fast one'. I did put it in but just couldn't get it to sound good so had to cut it out! 3) I'm only using a 7 string so I couldn't downtune all the way down to double Drop D without turning my strings into mush, so I've used the Electro Harmonix Pitch Fork pedal to help me out. Sounds pretty good considering Equipment used: Cubase 9 Ibanez 7321 Neural DSP: Archetype Nolly Neural DSP: Omega Granophyre Get Good Drums: Modern and Massive Waves, Soundtoys and FabFilter Plugins
