Pediatrics Day in the Life (PA Student Clinical Rotations)

I am currently on my 6th out of 9 rotations. I will be taking you through my pediatric rotation (6 weeks long) from the perspective of a Pediatric PA student on clinical rotations. This rotation was super fun. Working with kids is definitely not easy. My responsibilities in this office were: taking a history, performing a physical exam, oral case presentations to the preceptor, preparing and administering vaccines, drawing blood, documentation (subjective, objective, assessment and plan), and writing prescriptions. I will be graduating in about 3 months as a certified physician assistant. I currently attend Nova Southeastern University's PA program.
