“New Directions in Asian American History” took place on October 8, 2020. The Lytton Center welcomed Dr. Chrissy Yee Lau, Assistant Professor in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, California State University, Monterey Bay and Dr. Phuong Nguyen, Associate Professor in the School of Humanities and Communications, California State University, Monterey Bay to talk about their path-breaking historical research. The goal of this panel was to help see how the study of Asian American history continues to change and grow in the twenty-first century while giving our students access to exceptional scholars in the field.
