I am an AMD sponsored test driver, all of the parts for this build were provided by AMD free of charge. 0:22 for the processor falling out of socket, 0:54 for the damage. So, when I was assembling my kit with the Gigabyte board I lifted the retention bar, dropped the processor into the socket, and fastened the retention bar. CPU seemed secure. I lifted the mobo up (no more than a 90 degree angle) to put it in the case, and the processor dropped out of the socket and bent a bunch of pins. This is my first AMD build, I'm so pissed off at Gigabyte right now.
