TEMPERATURES DROP: Unsettled weather, areas of snow and a slight temperature drop this weekend
A trough will remain in place today, resulting in occasional snow showers. Otherwise, partly cloudy with highs in the 30s and 40s. South wind at 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph are expected today. Areas of rain and snow will continue Saturday. Parts of northwest Montana could see 1 to 4 inches of snow accumulate. Less than and inch or two is expected south of Kalispell. A colder air mass will drop along the divide this weekend. Gusty easterly winds will develop and temperatures will drop into the 20s and low 30s for highs by Sunday.
