Panicked Trump Begs Supporters To Help Pay $464 Million Bond

Donald Trump sent out a panicked message to his supporters this week, begging them to send him money so that he can pay the $464 million judgement against him without having his assets seized. The fundraising pitch included the line "Hands Off Trump Tower!", where he claimed that liberal prosecutors and judges are trying to steal his properties. There is nothing that Donald Trump can't find a way to try to monetize, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains. There is nothing that Donald Trump will not try to monetize. And that, as, as of this week, actually includes his own financial problems, which he has now tried to turn into a fundraising pitch to his supporters. Donald Trump sent out a panicked message to his supporters this week, begging them to give him what they've got. So of course, he could pay the $464 million, uh, judgment against him in the New York Fraud trial. Here is what Donald Trump wrote in this message to his supporters. Keep your filthy hands off Trump Tower. Insane radical Democrat Ag Letitia. James wants to seize my properties in New York. This includes the iconic Trump Tower. Before the day is over, I'm calling on 1 million pro-Trump Patriots to chip in and say, stop the witch hunt against President Trump. Trump. Yeah. You see the problem with that though, bud, is that the, uh, so-called witch hunt is actually over. Um, they, they found the witches and they handled it by slapping you with a $464 million verdict. And for the record, um, I don't know if you think you can actually use this money to pay your debt, but even if you got 1 million people to chip in money, you can't use that to pay the judgment. 'cause that's money that actually goes to your Super Pac and the Super Pac. Even though it can pay your lawyers, it can't pay the judgment against you. But it is important to notice what he's doing here. He is obviously trying to set himself up so that his supporters think if his assets get seized, that this is just a plot by the Democrats to destroy him. And as we all know, Donald Trump supporters do love to believe that there is this deep state conspiracy trying to keep him from public office. And what better way to do that than by taking everything this man has ever earned in his life. I use earned loosely there, by the way, but it's a good pitch to his supporters, to anyone else out there watching this objectively. This isn't going to sway anyone. This is not going to bring new people into Trump's camp. And, and that's the issue he has. But the bigger issue he has, as I discussed earlier this week, is that the small dollar donors for Trump's campaign have dried up. So this isn't just about trying to get people to give him money, it's about bringing back the people who stopped giving him money. If he can energize them by saying that this so-called Crazy, attorney General is after him on this vendetta taking his properties and all that, then maybe they'll be willing to say, okay, I'll give you another 20 bucks. I'll give you another 50, a hundred bucks, whatever it is, because I feel bad For you. Now. That's what this is about. It's actually less to do with the New York fraud case. He's just using that as the facade. And instead it's about the fact that his campaign has been hemorrhaging. The small dollar donors, they're not attracting the big dollar donors either, but the small dollar donors were key to the campaign in 2016 and 2020, and he needs 'em back. And what better way to get 'em back than by spreading a ridiculous conspiracy theory that he knows his supporters are easily going to buy into.
