DATA MANAGEMENT AND SHARING: IS YOUR DATA REPOSITORY READY?
Data management, security and quality assurance are critical to conducting ethical research. Strong data security demonstrates respect for the participants who contribute data and builds trust between those participants and the study investigators applying that data to answer research questions. In this session we will continue to discuss best practices for data management and respond to any outstanding questions raised in Part 1 of our Data Management and Sharing series in response to the NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy (effective January 25, 2023). We will also discuss strategies for developing codebooks, naming variables and identifying data repositories to help you and your team meet the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) principles underlying the new NIH data management policy. Presenters: Reneé H. Moore, PhD, Director of the Biostatistics Scientific Collaboration Center (BSC) Daniel Vader, PhD, Statistician, Biostatistics Scientific Collaboration Center Patricia "Trish" A. Shewokis, Ph.D., Director, Biostatistical Core for Doctoral Students and Post-Doctoral Fellows in CNHP Presented by CNHP Office of Research and Innovation. March 7th 2023
