How to Fix COD4 on PS3
I made this because I know a lot of people have the same problem with me on cod4.. you get a message come up when you load the game saying ''fatal error go back to ps home menu'' or something like that.. anyway, all you really need to do is load the game up WITHOUT an internet connection.. not just sign out, cut the internet off all toghther. Load the game up while you're offline and sign in when you get to multiplayer.. personally I just pull the ethernet cable from the ps3, but if you're wireless you will have to power down the router while you load the game up. For some reason it wont let you load the game while your ps3 has an internet connection.. so remove it, load game then turn the net back on.. sorted. hope this helped, hopefully this gets a few more people back online :)
