Reading lyrics on small computer monitor

I originally wanted to mount my 7" GPS to act as small monitor since I had no use for it just laying around the house. But the DVI to VGA to RCA was too expensive. So the cheapest alternative now is to mount a 15" monitor since I got it for 10 dollars.
