It's time for a little less conversation and a little more action.It's about equal rights for equal work and it's about fighting for what's right. Equal pay for an equal job done is a campaign spearheaded by the ASU, with many unions including the IEU throwing their support behind them. On June 8th, over 10,000 protestors working largely in the community and services sector (SACS) came out to demand equal pay in what are largely female-dominated workplaces. Fair work Australia has ruled that a pay increase is long overdue, so now it's up to the Government to play fair and get the ball moving towards equality.
