The Early Days of San Diego Comic Con - A Comic Jam Hawaii panel discussion

Aloha all, I hope you'll join me and special guests; Greg Koudoulian, Phil Yeh, and Trina Robbins as they reminisce about the early days of San Diego Comic Con. Scheduled for Halloween 2020, 1pm HST / 4pm PT. Greg Koudoulian's first Comic-Con was in 1972. He's currently working on "PLANET EL CORTEZ A LEGACY IN TIME THE COMIC CON DOCUMENTARY." And he's the recipient of the Shel Dorf Archives. Shel Dorf created Comic-Com. Trina Robbins is a cartoonist who was an early and influential participant in the underground comix movement, and one of the movement's first few female artists. Phil Yeh began his professional career the same year as SDCC, 1970. He wrote, illustrated and published one of the first modern American graphic novels, Even Cazco Gets the Blues. Steve Leialoha is a comics artist whose work first came to prominence in the 1970s. He has worked on numerous titles for DC and Marvel. His first convention was in 1971. These abbreviated bios do not do them justice, but hopefully it's enough to entice you to come give them a watch. This will stream to the Comic Jam Hawaii Facebook page, and the Artildawn Youtube and Twitch channels.
