ENSONIQ DP/4 Serial No. DP-15079 - action 7 (Dec 8-9, 2010)

This video documents the seventh set of tests performed on the system, in order to locate the root cause of the fault. In this seventh set of tests, the 74HC373 is replaced. As well, to make any future service work on this component easier: a machined IC socket has been installed. This allows the IC to be removed, without having to de-solder it. With a replacement 74HC373 installed, the unit is again tested, to determine whether the root cause of the problem has been located (and repaired).
