Strings of the Lost (EP)
New suite of string-driven orchestral scores from @WaterflameMusic and @pftq to see if we could emulate the feel of various films like The City of Lost Children (Angelo Badalamenti), Unbreakable (Newton-Howard), Split (West Thordson), and Raised by Wolves (Ben Frost). 0:00 - Strings of the Lost 1:58 - Strings of the Evolved 4:38 - Strings of the Wolves Strings of the Lost was originally meant to emulate The City of Lost Children, but it ended up sounding more like Unbreakable unintentionally. Strings of the Evolved takes the same theme and structure but gives it a darker more psychological feel with inspiration from the OST Split, particularly from when the Beast finally awakens. Strings of the Wolves tries to capture the feel of the intro from Raised by Wolves but ironically ends up sounding close to The City of Lost Children as well. We also mimicked the visual style of the Raised by Wolves intro here a bit to pay homage.
