Schependomlaan in BIMserver and bimvie.ws
Loading the whole Schependomlaan dataset in bimvie.ws from a BIMserver. That is 49 IFC models with a total of 2.970.688 IFC entities. Loading this takes 28 seconds in the presented setup. The dislocation of some sub-models is due to inconsequent modelling. This is done in in the current version of BIMserver (from git - September 5th 2016)) with latest IfcOpenShell build and bimvie.ws snapshot version. This video was made on a on a macbook pro 2012 with 8GB RAM (1600mhz DDR3) and OS X 10.11.5 Graphics card on the macbook was a NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB. The BIMserver was running on a dedicated server in Germany with 128Gb RAM. Internet connection download speed was around 100mbps.
