Unboxing + SSD & RAM Upgrade! | Mac mini (Late 2012) ? ? ?️
In this video, I'll be unboxing a late 2012 Mac mini. I decided to buy one for a project, but they're very cheap and I also wanted to expand my knowledge of the internals of a Mac computer. I removed the hard drive and replaced it with a 500GB and 120GB SSDs. I then upgraded the RAM from 4GB to 16GB, but it didn't go so smoothly as I accidentally damaged the IR sensor and after installing the RAM, I accidentally snapped the AirPort/Wi-Fi cord. But, this wasn't the end of the world, as I own an ethernet cable, which can deliver the internet, straight from my router. All in all, despite a few oops and hiccups, along the way, it's been a very successful project.
