YouTube in 120FPS vs 60FPS Comparison - CoD Vanguard Gameplay - xBox Series X
YouTube and 120FPS? Does it work? yes it does! This is a short Gameplay clip of CoD Vanguard comparing 60FPS with 120FPS on YouTube in realtime speed. You only need to set the playback speed to 2x and the video will play with 120 instead of regular 60FPS but obviously you need a device which is capable of outputting and displaying 120FPS. I tested this with the iPhone 13 Pro and my PC and it worked flawlessy. Choose highest possible Quality. But how does it work? I just put a 120fps clip into the timeline and set it to 50% speed and eported it as an 60FPS video. So if you watch it on YouTube it will be a 60FPS video at half speed, double the speed and we get a 120FPS video at full speed. This video is kind of an proof of concept for myself and others who are interested into this. Sidenote about the 120FPS footage: These are not native/real 120FPS but an upscaling from 60FPS was done by the render Software "Hybrid" with Vapoursynth plugin doing frame interpolation through the RIFE 3.1 method with pretty good results , there is definately a huge boost in smoothness compared to the stock 60FPS as you can see in this comparision. Footage was captured with the xBox Series X built in DVR 1080p60. So that's a big win for me, 120FPS on YouTube is really possible and FPS boosting 60FPS footage to 120 came out good, so i might upload more footage with higher framerate.
