AKIRA Sega Mega Drive/Genesis Prototype / LET'S PLAY - Fossil Arcade
Digital archivists, Hidden Palace, released the fabled AKIRA prototype for Sega Mega Drive on 25th December 2019. Now, with their Project Lunar Modded MD Mini, Graeme and Alex play through every stage in the game and discuss the would be film adaptation. AKIRA was being adapted into several video games by developer, Black Pearl. The project would've seen released on Super Nintendo, Game Boy, Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, SegaCD/MegaCD and Game Gear, but was cancelled for unknown reasons in late 1994.
