He is a man that likes to take care of business and get things done! He has type 2 diabetes himself, and 2 out of his 4 children live with type 1. He says he's an impatient man, but to juggle your own diabetes and that of your children I think one must have more than just a little bit of patience :) During this incredibly informative interview, we chat about DPAC (the Diabetes Patient Advocacy Coalition that makes it beyond easy for anyone to become an instant advocate), the Diabetes UnConference (which we will both be attending again this year), and we also get deep into the zen of exercise and nature!
