Diablo 3 Season 25 - Fire Ally Inna Monk GR 148 (1.2k paragon, solo-play only)
Welcome to the next speedfarm video! (kidding) So as it seems, Festering + Inna + PewPew Pylons = Win, who would've thought! Literally my first decent rift in the season, still nowhere close to the dreamrift I had for my 150 clear last season, which I was barely able to manage at 2.6k with maxed out gear. Times change indeed. Planner: https://maxroll.gg/d3planner/623478747 About the build: On the very basic level it plays out similarly to the S24 version. You move between your cycles to herd mobs, stop at the mid-end of physical cycle, keep attacking with your generator while you protect yourself with Serenity and Inner Sanc, press Dashing Strike and Cyclone Strike and blow everything up on your fire cycle. There are a number of differences if you want to max out your damage however, thanks to the Shards. Previously you would use your Inner Sanc. first, followed by Serenity after you stopped moving (because you are the most vulnerable when your fire cycle starts). Now you need to do this in the opposite order: use Serenity at the end of physical/start of cold, and pop Inner Sanc when your Serenity starts to wear down and you are about to nuke. This way you'll have all your abilities on CD when the nuke comes, as Serenity does not start its cooldown as long as its effect is up (you get 12.5% dmg + 5% crit and AS/ability on CD thanks to the Sliver or Terror Shard). Previously you world also check for Flying Dragon Proc before nuking by opening your inventory, and while you can still do that, you also need to keep an eye out for the new Dregs of Lies Shard, which makes your damage periodically go up and down (your pets' attacks stack it up to 100 (50% damage), once it reaches that, it resets in a few seconds to zero). This can determine if you should immediately press MA at the start of fire cycle, or wait 1-2 extra seconds before doing that for more damage. And as for the Shenlong's buff, you can hardly mess it up this time GIVEN an optimized gear, which you probably won't have early on in the season. If you manage to avoid + max spirit rolls on your gear/paragon, you'll have 250 maximum spirit to work with. Pressing MA will give you 200 instantly, so if you are already attacking with your generator when doing so, you'll get the damage proc without any problems for every single nuke. The only thing you need to look out for is that sometimes you won't have enough spirit to press Cyclone Strike, therefore using the Eye of the Storm rune with the reduced cost instead of Implosion might come in handy. HOWEVER, if you do have spirit rolls (like I have on 3 pieces even), you need to be much more mindful about your rotation. How I do it, is I let my spirit drop after each nuke, then slowly build it back up by alternating between Generator attacks and Cyclone Strikes, trying to hit max spirit only when I stop in place in preparation for the nuke. If you hit max spirit at the start of cold, there is no way it will drop to zero before the boom, if you keep on attacking with your generator. There are a few, more advanced things you can do to max out your damage. Your allies, just like in S24, often have a hard time finding their intended targets to blow up on. This is the likeliest to happen if the density is too big (max. 20-30 high value mobs are still the go-to), but also if the targets and/or you are stationary when you press the MA button. Your allies don't explode exactly at the moment you press the button, more like over a 1 sec period normally (one after the other). This means that you have a short window to help them better find their targets. By starting to slightly move around while spamming Cyclone strike the moment your allies go nuclear, you will "shake up" your pull, meaning your allies will explode much more reliably. This also means that you will pull in fresh mobs into your explosions as the mobs in the middle start to die, further increasing damage. You will of course lose a bit damage from the Endless Walk set by doing this, but trust me, it's nothing compared to some of your allies not exploding at all. Good luck!
